If customers need to enhance the adhesion of the product, they can treat the product with single or double-sided adhesive backing to enhance its stickiness.
2. Does the stickiness of the thermal gap pad facilitate reuse?
Whether the thermal gap pad can be reused depends on the strength of the stickiness. Generally, thermal conductive pads with self-adhesive properties can be reused because this built-in stickiness is not very strong and does not easily damage or deform the thermal conductive pad. Some customers, due to product structural issues, need the stickiness of the thermal conductive pad to be strong to serve as a fixing function, so they apply single or double-sided adhesive backing to the thermal conductive pad. Because the stickiness of the adhesive backing is relatively strong, it is not very convenient for reuse, especially when encountering aluminum or electroplated surfaces, special care must be taken to avoid tearing or delamination. Thermal conductive pads with self-adhesive properties are easier to reuse than those with adhesive backing.
3. How long is the service life of thermal gap pads?
The service life of most thermal gap pads on the market is about 3 years, and all thermal conductive pads have undergone strict high-temperature aging tests, with a shelf life that is more than double that of peers, reaching 10 years or even longer. Especially for thermal gap pads used in new energy vehicle batteries, the service life exceeds 20 years, which is also a very rare thermal gap pad enterprise in the industry that can guarantee 10 years or even 20 years for its products.
